the barnes family & the sherwood family

It's adorable baby day on my blog today! I had two sessions in Amarillo last week with some families I was very excited to photograph.

The first was the Barnes family- I was excited to meet baby Declan, who is quite possibly the smiliest, most content baby I've ever met. It was wonderful to catch up with our college friends Will and Ragan as well. Love the way Ragan styled them all!

Next was the Sherwood family- I had also never met miss Blakelee (who just turned 1) in person, and on my goodness…adorable does not even begin to describe! Could not get over her little outfit and moccs. Haylee brought along some pink balloons that were a total hit.

I can't believe I haven't had a chance to share the images of this precious family! I wasn't sure what to expect with 4 kiddos ranging from 6 months to 7 years- and I was blown away by how sweet these little girls are. Each head their own adorable personality, and each clearly loved the others so much...it was fun to watch and capture in photos.

Another family I love! I have had the privilege of photographing these two boys for several years now- and not only do I love their style, but their personalities are so much fun. They entertained me on a beautiful fall morning in Amarillo a few weeks ago- here are a few of my favorites.

The Adams family was one of several families I had the pleasure of photographing in Amarillo a couple of weeks ago. This family is special to me because not only do they have 3 girls (I am the eldest of 3 girls), but they have been an encouragement and bright light to my family in many ways.

These girls (and their parents) are super sweet and so much fun. And they know how to wear those sequins! :)

Whew! I dove in head first for Mini-Sessions in Amarillo on the 6th. 8 awesome families met me in the park and we had a blast. It was a long day, but a very rewarding one. I left realizing just how blessed I am by my clients- and I hope that the images I capture for them bless them right back! Here are some images that caught my eye browsing through:

It's always such an honor as a wedding photographer to get to see my wedding clients go from being a couple to a family- and to be asked to document that. I just love this family- I met them when I shot Clay + Bandi's wedding back in 2009. Since then, they've had a few new additions in the form of new granddaughters and a son-in-law, so it was high time for some new photos. They endured the heat with me that day in Amarillo, and had the best attitudes the whole time. Here are some of my favorites.

I'm slightly obsessed with baby Karrington. Maybe we can schedule an arranged marriage? :)

Four generations.
